As of 9/28/04 we have a presence on the web. This will serve us all who are unable to attend every meeting, and allow our chapter to post changes and keep everyone up to date. Hopefully our site will generate some interest in non-members to join up as well. We will try to post relative and interesting items to our members, and keep an archive of our past events out. Being on the web will allow us to keep everyone as up to date as possible, and as economical as well. The ability to access all past and future maps, directions, findings, and photos and download and print any you wish will be invaluable. We realize not everyone has a computer, but it will prove to be very useful, educational and overall FUN for the members using this site. Keep in mind that some colleges and extension campuses and libraries allow you to use their computers free of charge. Chances are also that everyone knows a family member with a computer, and what better time to catch on to new technology than having fun while doing it? |
